Available Positions in Production and Maintenance

We are currently seeking 17 dedicated professionals to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing and logistics hub in Duffel. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to the creation of world-class aluminium systems.

1. Extrusion Press Operator

Position Overview: Operate one of our advanced aluminium extrusion presses, transforming raw aluminium billets into complex architectural profiles that form the basis of our systems.

Key Responsibilities - Extrusion Press Operator:

Manage the entire extrusion process from a central control panel, including billet heating, press operation, and profile handling. Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and extrusion speed to ensure profiles meet exact dimensional and metallurgical specifications. Perform die changes and manage the die heating process. Conduct first-level quality checks on extruded profiles and collaborate with the quality team to resolve any deviations. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the press and associated equipment.

2. Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

Position Overview: Ensure the optimal mechanical performance and reliability of our diverse range of production machinery, from extrusion presses to automated packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Technician - Mechanical:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical failures on production equipment to minimize downtime. Fabricate or repair machine parts using workshop equipment. Read technical drawings and schematics to guide repair and installation activities. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

3. Maintenance Technician - Electrical

Position Overview: Maintain and repair the electrical and control systems of our highly automated production facility, ensuring maximum uptime and safety.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Technician - Electrical:

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on machinery, including motors, drives, sensors, and control cabinets. Perform diagnostics and basic programming on PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7). Install new electrical components and wiring according to Belgian regulations (AREI). Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure, such as switchboards and transformers. Support the automation team in implementing new projects.

4. CNC Machine Operator (Aluminium Profiles)

Position Overview: Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers to perform precise cutting, milling, and drilling operations on aluminium profiles.

Key Responsibilities - CNC Machine Operator:

Read and interpret complex technical drawings and CAD files. Program CNC machines using specialized software or directly at the machine interface. Select and set up the correct tooling, jigs, and fixtures for each job. Operate the CNC machine, ensuring all operations are performed to the highest quality standards. Perform in-process quality control using precision measuring tools. Optimize machining processes for speed and accuracy.

5. Powder Coating Line Operator

Position Overview: Operate our automated powder coating line to apply durable and high-quality finishes to our aluminium profiles.

Key Responsibilities - Powder Coating Line Operator:

Manage the pre-treatment process, ensuring profiles are perfectly cleaned and prepared for coating. Operate the powder application booths, ensuring even and consistent coating thickness. Monitor and control the curing ovens to guarantee proper adhesion and durability of the paint. Perform color changes efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct quality checks on the finished profiles for color consistency, gloss, and adhesion.

6. Anodizing Line Technician

Position Overview: A specialized role involving the operation and monitoring of our anodizing line, an electrochemical process that gives profiles a protective and decorative finish.

Key Responsibilities - Anodizing Line Technician:

Operate the cranes and transport systems to move profiles through the various chemical baths. Monitor and maintain the chemical composition, temperature, and electrical parameters of the anodizing, coloring, and sealing baths. Perform regular quality control tests on the anodic layer thickness and sealing quality. Handle chemicals safely and manage the wastewater treatment process. Troubleshoot process issues to maintain consistent quality.

7. Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview: Act as the guardian of our quality standards, performing detailed inspections at various stages of the production process.

Key Responsibilities - Quality Control Inspector:

Inspect incoming raw materials and finished profiles using a variety of measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and advanced optical scanners. Verify that products conform to technical drawings and quality specifications. Document inspection results and report any non-conformities. Participate in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions. Ensure that all quality procedures are followed on the shop floor.

8. Logistics Operator / Forklift Driver

Position Overview: Manage the movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods within our extensive warehouse and production facility.

Key Responsibilities - Logistics Operator:

Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and side-loaders to safely handle long aluminium profiles and other materials. Load and unload trucks, ensuring goods are handled correctly and paperwork is accurate. Use barcode scanners and our warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements. Prepare and stage materials for the production lines. Ensure the warehouse is kept organized and safe.

9. Assembly Line Worker (Thermal Break)

Position Overview: Operate the specialized machinery that assembles our thermally broken profiles, inserting insulating strips between the inner and outer aluminium shells.

Key Responsibilities - Assembly Line Worker:

Set up and operate the thermal break assembly machine. Feed aluminium profiles and insulating strips into the machine. Monitor the assembly process to ensure a perfect and strong connection. Perform quality checks on the assembled profiles to verify their insulation performance and structural integrity. Bundle and label the finished profiles for the next production step.

10. Tool and Die Maker

Position Overview: A highly skilled role responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preparation of the critical extrusion dies used to shape our aluminium profiles.

Key Responsibilities - Tool and Die Maker:

Inspect, clean, and polish extrusion dies after use. Perform precise repairs on dies using hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment. Read complex die drawings to understand their construction and function. Prepare new dies for their first use, ensuring they are correctly assembled and heated. Manage the inventory of dies and associated tooling. Collaborate with the extrusion team to troubleshoot profile quality issues related to the dies.

11. Industrial Electrician

Position Overview: Focus on the installation and maintenance of the facility's core electrical infrastructure, ensuring a reliable power supply for all operations.

Key Responsibilities - Industrial Electrician:

Install new electrical circuits, panels, and lighting systems throughout the plant. Perform preventive maintenance on high-voltage switchgear and transformers. Troubleshoot and repair faults in the building's electrical distribution system. Ensure all electrical work complies with the Belgian AREI standards. Assist with the electrical connection of new production machinery.

12. Welding Technician

Position Overview: Perform specialized welding for the maintenance and repair of steel and aluminium structures, machinery, and equipment within the plant.

Key Responsibilities - Welding Technician:

Perform TIG and MIG/MAG welding on various materials to a high standard. Fabricate custom brackets, guards, and other metal parts as needed for maintenance or improvement projects. Repair cracks or wear on machine components. Read fabrication drawings and plan the welding sequence. Inspect welds to ensure they are free of defects and have sufficient strength.

13. Production Planner

Position Overview: A key organizational role, responsible for creating and managing the production schedule to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities - Production Planner:

Analyze customer orders and stock levels to determine production needs. Create detailed production schedules for the extrusion, coating, and machining departments. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure raw materials are available. Monitor production progress and adjust the schedule as needed to handle unexpected delays or urgent orders. Use our ERP system to manage all planning activities.

14. Health & Safety Officer

Position Overview: Promote and ensure a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and monitoring health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities - Health & Safety Officer:

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments throughout the facility. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees. Ensure the company complies with all Belgian health and safety legislation. Promote a proactive safety culture among all staff.

15. Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: A multi-skilled role focused on the general maintenance and upkeep of the Reynaers Campus buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities - Facilities Maintenance Technician:

Perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting. Maintain the HVAC, lighting, and sanitary systems. Supervise external contractors working on site. Conduct routine inspections of the buildings to identify potential issues. Ensure the campus grounds are well-maintained and safe.

16. Automation Engineer

Position Overview: Design, implement, and maintain the automation systems that drive our factory's efficiency, including robotics and PLC-controlled machinery.

Key Responsibilities - Automation Engineer:

Develop and program PLC and HMI software for new and existing machines. Design and integrate robotic cells for tasks such as material handling and packaging. Troubleshoot complex automation problems that the maintenance team cannot solve. Lead continuous improvement projects to increase the level of automation in our factory. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Industry 4.0 and automation technology.

17. Warehouse Coordinator

Position Overview: Supervise a team of logistics operators and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities - Warehouse Coordinator:

Organize the daily work of the warehouse team, including receiving, storage, and shipping activities. Ensure inventory accuracy by overseeing cycle counts and resolving discrepancies. Train new logistics operators. Optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved efficiency and safety. Act as the main point of contact between the warehouse and other departments like production and sales.
