Labour and Maintenance Positions (22)

1. CNC Machine Operator

Position Overview: Operate and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-precision metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities - CNC Machine Operator:

Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and grinders. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

2. Welder (MIG/MAG/TIG)

Position Overview: Perform various types of welding to assemble and fabricate metal structures and components for our industrial products.

Key Responsibilities - Welder (MIG/MAG/TIG):

Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning. Perform MIG, MAG, and TIG welding on a variety of metals. Inspect welds for quality and accuracy. Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

3. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview: Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all production machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all industrial machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults. Repair and replace defective parts. Fabricate new parts as needed. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.

4. Industrial Electrician

Position Overview: Install, maintain, and repair all electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities - Industrial Electrician:

Install and maintain electrical wiring, control panels, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production machinery and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with national electrical codes and safety regulations. Read and interpret electrical schematics.

5. Assembly Line Worker

Position Overview: Work as part of a team on our assembly lines to produce home appliances and other electronic products.

Key Responsibilities - Assembly Line Worker:

Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions. Perform quality checks on assembled parts. Operate assembly line equipment and tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety and quality procedures.

6. Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview: Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities - Quality Control Inspector:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts and products. Use a variety of measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Document inspection results and report any non-conformances. Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

7. Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Position Overview: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the factory and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities - Forklift Operator / Material Handler:

Load and unload trucks and containers. Transport materials to and from production lines and storage areas. Stack and organize products in the warehouse. Perform daily safety checks on material handling equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records.

8. Electrostatic Paint Operator

Position Overview: Operate and maintain our electrostatic painting line to apply high-quality paint finishes to metal components.

Key Responsibilities - Electrostatic Paint Operator:

Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning and masking. Set up and operate electrostatic painting equipment. Monitor the painting process to ensure a consistent and high-quality finish. Perform routine maintenance on the painting line. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

9. Plastic Injection Molding Technician

Position Overview: Set up, operate, and maintain our plastic injection molding machines to produce a variety of plastic components.

Key Responsibilities - Plastic Injection Molding Technician:

Install and set up molds in injection molding machines. Set and adjust machine parameters to produce high-quality parts. Troubleshoot and resolve any molding process issues. Perform routine maintenance on molds and machines. Inspect finished parts for quality.

10. Tool and Die Maker

Position Overview: A highly skilled craftsman responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining the tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities - Tool and Die Maker:

Read and interpret blueprints to build new tools and dies. Use a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-precision components. Repair and maintain existing tools and dies. Troubleshoot and resolve any tooling-related production issues. Work closely with engineers and production teams to improve tool designs.

11. Warehouse Operative

Position Overview: Responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities - Warehouse Operative:

Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes. Store goods in the correct location in the warehouse. Pick and pack orders for dispatch. Maintain accurate inventory records. Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

12. Electronics Technician

Position Overview: Assemble, test, and repair electronic components and products, including our industrial electronics and railway equipment.

Key Responsibilities - Electronics Technician:

Solder and assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and finished products. Repair and rework defective units. Calibrate and maintain electronic testing equipment. Read and interpret electronic schematics.

13. Metal Fabricator

Position Overview: Fabricate and assemble a wide range of metal products, from small components to large structures, for our industrial and urban furniture divisions.

Key Responsibilities - Metal Fabricator:

Cut, bend, and shape metal using a variety of fabrication equipment. Assemble and weld metal components according to blueprints. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Maintain fabrication equipment. Adhere to all safety procedures.

14. HVAC Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities - HVAC Maintenance Technician:

Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC units. Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems. Monitor and adjust system controls to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work. Ensure a comfortable and safe working environment for all employees.

15. Plumber / Pipefitter

Position Overview: Install, maintain, and repair all plumbing and piping systems within our facilities, including water, gas, and compressed air lines.

Key Responsibilities - Plumber / Pipefitter:

Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Maintain and repair industrial plumbing systems. Respond to plumbing emergencies. Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and other plumbing equipment. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.

16. General Factory Worker

Position Overview: A flexible and adaptable worker who can perform a variety of general tasks throughout the factory as needed.

Key Responsibilities - General Factory Worker:

Assist with production, assembly, and packaging tasks. Clean and maintain work areas. Move materials and supplies. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

17. Production Planner

Position Overview: Plan and schedule production activities to ensure that production targets are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities - Production Planner:

Create and maintain production schedules. Monitor production progress and make adjustments as needed. Coordinate with purchasing to ensure that all necessary materials are available. Liaise with sales to understand customer demand. Work to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.

18. Health and Safety Officer

Position Overview: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities - Health and Safety Officer:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions. Provide health and safety training to employees. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

19. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate all facilities maintenance activities to ensure our buildings and grounds are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities - Facilities Maintenance Supervisor:

Schedule and assign work to the maintenance team. Inspect completed work to ensure quality. Manage the maintenance budget and inventory of spare parts. Liaise with contractors for specialized maintenance work. Ensure all facilities comply with safety and environmental regulations.

20. AFER Laboratory Technician

Position Overview: Work in our AFER-authorized testing laboratory to perform a variety of tests on our railway equipment and other industrial products.

Key Responsibilities - AFER Laboratory Technician:

Set up and conduct mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests according to AFER standards. Record and analyze test data. Prepare detailed test reports. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment. Ensure all testing is carried out in a safe and accurate manner.

21. Electrochemical Coating Operator

Position Overview: Operate and maintain our electrochemical coating line to apply protective and decorative coatings to metal parts.

Key Responsibilities - Electrochemical Coating Operator:

Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning and racking. Operate the coating line, monitoring and adjusting parameters as needed. Perform quality checks on coated parts. Maintain the chemical baths and other equipment. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

22. Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview: Coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities - Logistics Coordinator:

Arrange transportation for incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products. Prepare all necessary shipping and customs documentation. Liaise with freight forwarders and transport companies. Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise. Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
