For over six decades, the N. Kioleides name has been synonymous with industrial excellence and manufacturing prowess in Greece. Established in 1963 by Nikolaos Kioleides, the company has grown from a local workshop into the nation's largest and most respected manufacturer of commercial and military trailers, specialized truck bodies, and complex heavy metal structures. Operating from its strategic base in the industrial heart of Volos, the N. Kioleides Group, through its primary entities NIK KIOLEIDES SA and NK TRAILERS SA, represents a towering legacy of Greek engineering, innovation, and resilience. Our work is not merely about building vehicles; it is about forging the backbone of transportation, defense, and industry for Greece and its international partners. We are a certified NATO military equipment manufacturer (NATO CAGE code G1310), a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and security. Our products traverse the highways of Europe, support critical military logistics, and form the structural core of major industrial projects. A career at N. Kioleides is an opportunity to join a historic industrial family, to contribute to projects of national importance, and to build a future on a foundation of solid steel and enduring values.

The heart of our operation is our expansive, state-of-the-art factory located in the A' Industrial Zone of Volos. This is not just a production site; it is a 28,500-square-meter ecosystem of advanced manufacturing technology and skilled craftsmanship. The facility is a testament to our commitment to vertical integration and quality control, equipped with some of the most sophisticated machinery in the industry. Within these walls, raw steel is transformed into precision-engineered components and assembled into robust, reliable vehicles and structures. Our production capabilities are vast and varied, featuring fully automated robotic welding lines that ensure perfect, consistent seams; high-definition plasma and flame CNC cutting tables that carve complex shapes from thick steel plates with surgical precision; and environmentally controlled, heated paint chambers that provide a durable, flawless finish. The entire facility is designed for efficiency and scale, with a production capacity exceeding 2,000 vehicles per year on a single shift. This formidable industrial infrastructure, combined with our numerous certifications (ISO, UIC, ERRI, ORRE, TSI), allows us to tackle the most demanding projects, from large-scale military contracts to bespoke commercial vehicle orders, all while meeting the most stringent international standards.

Our strategic location in Volos provides a significant competitive advantage. Situated just 4.5 kilometers from the bustling Port of Volos and directly connected to the national railway network, our factory is a logistical hub with seamless access to markets across Western and Eastern Europe and beyond. This prime location facilitates the efficient import of raw materials and the swift export of finished products, making us a reliable partner in the global supply chain. Furthermore, the factory's ability to be classified as a free customs zone provides unparalleled flexibility for international projects, allowing for the production and export of goods to non-EU countries without the imposition of VAT or duties. This strategic positioning is not just about logistics; it's about being at the crossroads of Greek industry. Volos has a rich industrial heritage, and our company is a major employer in the region, drawing on a deep pool of local talent and contributing significantly to the economic vitality of the community. Working at N. Kioleides means being part of this vibrant industrial ecosystem, with the stability of a company that has been a pillar of the community for generations.

The scope of our work is as diverse as it is impressive. While we are best known for our market-leading commercial trailers and semi-trailers, our expertise extends deep into the defense and heavy industry sectors. We are a trusted partner to the Hellenic Armed Forces and other NATO allies, designing and manufacturing a wide range of military logistics equipment, including heavy-duty tank transporters and specialized wheeled and tracked vehicles. Our engineering prowess is also sought after by major players in the steel, oil refinery, and cement industries, for whom we fabricate massive, complex heavy metal structures that form the core of their industrial plants. We have also demonstrated our capabilities on the international stage, undertaking ambitious projects such as the construction of entire factories and production lines for the Russian automotive company Avtotor, which produces vehicles for global brands like BMW and GM. This breadth of experience, from commercial transport to military hardware and massive industrial fabrication, makes N. Kioleides a uniquely dynamic and challenging place to work. It offers our employees the chance to apply their skills to a wide variety of projects, ensuring that no two days are the same and that there are always new challenges to conquer and new skills to learn.
