About the Neighbourhood

The complex stands opposite the Messe Congress Graz exhibition and congress centre in Jakomini, the district just south-east of the old town. Events at the Messe Congress Graz bring culture and leisure to the doorstep, and the Augarten, one of the city's best-known parks on the bank of the Mur, is nearby.

EHL points out that residents can manage without a car: a public footpath is being created along Fröhlichgasse, and the quarter has both an underground and an above-ground route to the exhibition forecourt, as well as a direct connection to the existing Messe Congress garage.

Public transport includes bus line 66, tram lines 4 and 5, the S3 suburban railway and several regional bus lines. Cyclists join the Graz cycle highway, a north-south route that continues towards Slovenia, directly from the site, and drivers reach the A2 and A9 motorways via Graz-Liebenau.
