The district takes its name from a lake that lies 250 metres from Bergsjö Höjd and is today the popular Bergsjöbadet excursion spot, with several jetties, sun decks, a playground and hiking trails used by residents and visitors all year round.

Nearby is Galaxen, a city farm that works as a living farm open to visitors throughout the year and also runs a youth club. Around Komettorget and Rymdtorget you find grocery shops, kiosks, libraries and primary schools, and the neighbouring areas of Kviberg and Gamlestan add more schools, youth centres, outdoor activities, entertainment and restaurants.

Getting Around
